HANDCOP
The unique design of the HANDCOP Counter Escape Restraint allows for it to be worn like a bracelet.
Simply cinch around wrist, wrap around excess cord and tuck in the stopper knot to secure.
This carry method ensures that you always have an effective restraint available at all times.

STRONGER THAN STEEL
Strong and light. weight for weight, 8 times stronger than steel and 3 times stronger than fiberglass, polyester or nylon yarns.
FATIGUE RESISTANCE
Shows little loss of strength even during repeated flexing and stretching.
HEAT RESISTANCE
Thermal decomposition threshold of 500C. At 250C, it maintains more than half of its room-temperature tensile strength.
FIRE RETARDANT
Self-extinguishing and will not melt.
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
Highly resistant to acids, alkalis and organic solvents; not vulnerable to damage caused by steam or sea water.
UV RESISTANCE
All HANDCOP Counter Escape Restraint feature a Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coating.
This coating protects the HANDCOP from UV damage, increases flexibility, better knot strength, and chemical resistance.
ABRASION RESISTANCE
Shows little loss of strength even during repeated abrasion.

The friction saw method is ineffective against the HANDCOP causing only superficial damage to the outer 550 sheath.
